Looking for Edible Schoolyard volunteers

Imagine being outside in the gorgeous fall weather for three hours greeting visitors to the Edible Schoolyard at the Greensboro Children’s Museum.  See the puffy white clouds, the deep blue sky, and the contented chickens.  Now look around you.  A family is visiting from out of town and has grandma along.  There’s a story to read, or maybe a cider press and fresh apple cider.  Perhaps there are eggs to collect and butterflies to watch. People are asking you questions and you feel confident in answering them because you have a special interest in gardening, which you are fulfilling through your volunteer work at the Edible Schoolyard.  For further information about upcoming training and volunteer opportunities, contact Kat Siladi ksiladi@gcmuseum.com and thanks in advance from the Edible Schoolyard team and the families who visit!
